The Saemidori bush was first developed in 1969 through crossbreeding between Yabukita (The most popular tea bush in Japan) and Asatsuyu (Bush type known as "naturally grown Gyokuro") Saemidori is very flavorful and has almost no bitterness with a delicate, fresh aroma. About Sencha Variety
Sencha, the most commonly drunk green tea in Japan was first produced in Uji (the outskirts of Kyoto) in the 18thCentury and is now produced in many parts of the country. First flush tea, harvested from late April through mid-May, is considered the best of its kind. Sencha has the perfect balance of briskness and sweetness.
Returns & Shipping Policy
We do not accept returns unless there is a problem with the received product (ex: damaged in shipment, wrong item).
All shipments are sent via UPS Ground, unless otherwise instructed. For larger shipments of 10 cases / 250 kg, we will arrange the shipment directly to you from Japan.
